This studio-cut song was made by Willie Wright (William C. Gathright) of “Right on for the Darkness” fame in New York in the late 1970’s. It was his humorous and smokin’ response to being teased by other musicians about his folk, jazz, blues, soul, country and rock’n’ roll-infused sets, and being told he couldn’t possibly also play disco or dance music. It’s the “Real Thing!”
